History of EBDA

Everyone's Ballroom Dance Association (E.B.D.A.) was formed in the late 1980's by a small group of amateur dancers: Bob Mellor, Frank Colpitts, Peter and Viki Van Hogezand, and Dorothea Thielmann.

The Association was aptly named to encourage everyone from the various dance schools and organizations to attend the monthly dances. In cooperation with the local schools, it was decided that the Association would provide a place for dancers to try out their footwork, showcase their skills, and be able to mix and mingle with other dancers.

E.B.D.A. is still going strong in the new millennium, with new faces and energy keeping the dance spirit alive. Dances are held with terrific turnouts.
